古往今来，两江交汇孕育重庆的重要土壤，形成了“名城危踞层岩上,鹰瞵鹗视雄三巴”的磅礴印象和城市独有的营造逻辑。随着重庆城市的繁荣发展，法国水师兵营见证两江交汇的百年变迁、新潮旧事。

Since ancient times, the confluence of the two rivers has nurtured important soil in Chongqing, forming the majestic impression of "the famous city standing high on the rock, like the eagles and ospreys staring at the Bashu earth with fierce eyes" and the unique logic of the city.With the prosperity development of Chongqing, the French naval barracks has witnessed the century-old changes of the two rivers and the old and new things in the process of development.

从百年沧桑的“时光印迹”里我们洞察城市的过去，以文化作启迪，希望“传承南滨路的历史记忆，打造开放共享的城市空间”，展现重庆一个新的城市记忆点，更新为城市界面的文化展示橱窗。

From the "Time Engram" of the vicissitudes of a century, we have insight into the city's past, inspired by culture, and hope to "inherit the historical memory of Nanbin Road and create an open and shared urban space". Showing a new urban memory point in Chongqing, updated as a cultural display window of the city interface. 

以史为线，文脉主义 

History&conalism as the line

法国水师兵营迄今120年，已经成为城市历史文化生活的缩影。

水师兵营作为城市重要的历史遗址，意义非凡。依着历史和文脉传承，水师兵营的修复遵循“修缮+保护”的原则，以修旧如旧的设计方法，保留它原有的特色建筑风格和空间格局，使积淀的历史和文化得到充分保护展示。

For 120 years, the French Navy Barracks has become the epitome of the city's historical and cultural life.

The naval barracks is an important historical site in the city and is of great value.In order to inherit the history and context, the restoration of the naval barracks follows the principle of "repair + protection", and retains its original characteristic architectural style and spatial pattern with the design method of repairing the old as the old. The accumulated history and culture can be fully protected and displayed.

入口保留原有台阶，在台阶上布置人行栈道，还原历史文物的沧桑感并使人更能亲近文物，并方便引导人流直接进入内庭院。

The entrance retains the original steps, and a glass bridge is arranged above. It restores the vicissitudes of historical relics and makes people more close to the cultural relics, and guides the flow of people directly into the inner courtyard.

深灰色调为主，景观环境营造出庄重、静谧的氛围。

为了增加场地历史感，铺装主要材料主要采用重庆青石。通过青石纹理、肌理效果对比，以及配合条石，营造出古朴、自然的印象。

Dark gray is the main color, the landscape environment creates a solemn and quiet atmosphere.

In order to increase the sense of history of the site, the main material of the pavement is mainly Chongqing bluestone.Through the contrast of bluestone texture and texture effect, combined with strip stones, it creates a primitive and natural impression.

现代营造，社区引擎 

Modern Architecture, Community Engine

在探寻保护更新的措施中，设计以“社区口袋公园营造式”的保护方法使水师兵营挖掘出自身场地特质，以“社区引擎”改善周边生活空间，提升居民的生活品质，让历史文化街区活力再现。

In the exploration of protection and renewal measures, the design adopts the protection method of "community pocket park construction" to make the naval barracks excavate its own site characteristics. With the "community engine", the surrounding living space will be improved, the quality of life of the residents will be improved, and the vitality of the historical and cultural blocks will be reproduced.

玻璃文化墙把重要事件记录下来，方便引导人们在街区游览的时候与历史对话，让人们记住“南滨记忆”。

The glass cultural wall records important events, guides people to have a dialogue with history when visiting the block, and makes people remember "Nanbin Memory".

场地上除了老建筑，生长的老树也成了历史的见证者。设计对原有空间的树种移栽保护，尊重场地，改善了公园区域的景观环境。

In addition to the old buildings on the site, the growing old trees have also become witnesses ofhistory.The design transplants and protects the tree species in the original space, respects the site, and improves the landscape environment of the park area.

口袋公园的挡墙上通过旧时影像还原的方式讲述南滨路水师兵营的历史。设计以以小见大、趣味互动的方式让人们通过岁月之眼“偷窥”过去，让他们留下深刻印象。

The old images on the retaining wall of pocket garden tell the history of the Naval Barracks on Nanbin Road.The design impresses people by allowing people to "peep" the past through the eyes of time in a small, interesting and interactive way.

地刻，历史的印迹，指引着人们去往水师兵营。

The inscriptions on the ground, the imprints of history, guide people to the naval barracks.

借景地标，巧思未来

Borrow the scenery landmark, skillfully think of the future

从水师兵营、社区口袋公园到前场的展示区，历史叙事，精装巧思。前场运用借景技巧，巧妙把江岸对面的重庆地标建筑朝天门来福士、重庆大剧院纳入视野之内，形成两岸景色联动。

From the naval barracks, the community pocket garden to the show area front space, historical narrative, hardcover and ingenious.The front space uses view borrowing, cleverly bringing the Chongqing landmark building Raffles City Chongqing and Chongqing Grand Theater into the field of vision, forming a cross-strait scenery linkage.

飞桥、悬瀑运用城市的山水元素，凸显出前场昭示性，奠定场地现代自然的风格和艺术基调，和后场形成时间上的呼应。

Flying bridges and hanging waterfalls use the city's elements. Highlight the form of the front space, lay a modern and natural style and artistic tone of the venue, and echo the time of the back space.

法国水师兵营作为重庆文化个性有形载体的历史遗存，保护好它连同一起的文化街区，是一笔巨大的城市文化财产。

道合设计此次对法国水师兵营依托历史的改造和长嘉汇口袋公园的打造，做到真正的尊重历史和保护历史，不仅展现了南滨路的历史脉络，更奠定了南滨路未来的发展根基，实现了城市更新的一种“永续发展”。

未来，道合设计也会一直在城市更新的永续发展道路上一直探索前行。

As a historical relic of the tangible carrier of Chongqing's cultural personality, the French Naval Barracks is a huge urban cultural property.

Donehome Design relied on the historical transformation of the French Navy Barracks and the creation of Changjiahui Pocket Garden, so as to truly respect and protect history. It not only shows the historical context of Nanbin Road, but also lays the foundation for the future development of Nanbin Road, realizing a "sustainable development" of urban renewal.

In the future, Donehome Design will continue to explore and move forward on the road of sustainable development of urban renewal.
